AMS has partnered with a leading environmental company in a search for a Site Controller for its multiple locations in Western New York and the position will office south of Rochester, NY. Responsibilities include preparation of month-end financial statements, including balance sheet, income statements, and variance analysis in addition to overseeing the daily financial operations of the facilities and supervision of the office administrative staff. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
The Site Controller works closely with the site Managers to strive for continuous financial and operational improvement.
Main areas of oversight include:
- EBITDA Improvement
- Accurate and timely Financial Reporting
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Credit and Collections
- Capital Budgeting and Cash Flow
- Selection and Retention of Staff
- Customer Service
Requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of five years of professional accounting experience, including supervisory experience. Cost Accounting experience, including standard cost is a plus.
